Planning a trip to the Maldives? Need some ideas and activities to do?
We wanted to share our favorites with you ! Here you’ll find something for both: a person who wants to relax & calm down and a person who craves excitement and activities !

1. Sea diving
The Maldives is one of the best diving destinations in the world. If you ever wanted to try out snorkelling or diving, this is THE place to do it.
Around the atolls you’ll find the most colourful and beautiful underwater life and be able to see the corals in their full glam.
Also if you’re really into the diving, there are numerous dive resorts in the Maldives where you can book yourself a whole diving holiday.

2. Water sports
The Maldives is surrounded by the sea and the blue water calls every water sport lover’s name!
There are plenty of options to choose from, or if you’re really into this thing, just pick up a new one for every day.
For example wakeboarding, windsurfing, water skiing, knee boarding, canoeing, or other sports.
You’ll find the speed and adrenaline but also a little more relaxing options like Stand Up Paddlng.

5. Beach
You must have seen the white beaches on Instagram and in the Maldives pictures you’ve been searching photos when planning your holiday.
And of course the blue, crystal clear water … will you really find these in the Maldives or are they just a day dreams and filters?
Yes, you’ll find them. The most beautiful beaches in the world.
For a beach lover the Maldives are the Heaven. Beaches are just as beautiful as you think they would be, water is clear, sun is warm and the sand is clean, which is amazing.

4. Dolphin watching
The Maldives is one of the top 5 whale and dolphin watching places in the world with it’s over 20 different species of whales and dolphins.
The best season to see dolphins in the Maldives must be between January and April, when the water is the nicest for them.
There are many places where you can see whales and dolphins, also little trips like “sunset dolphin cruises”, but if we only could mention one place, it would be the Muli Channel in Meemu Atoll.
Small, not the most famous place but surely one of the best places to see dolphins.

5. Spa / wellness
Relaxation, calmness, enjoyment.. that’s what probably on most people’s mind when arriving to the Maldives. On top of the “natural beauty” of the Maldives there are all kinds of luxury resorts and services for making your holiday perfect.
You’ll find all the wellness experiences, saunas and spas around and most of the resorts offer these to make your stay just as nice and relaxing as you can wish for.



6.Island Hopping
Each resort in the Maldives is it’s own little island, and there are plenty of them -more than 100 resorts. One of the best ways to enjoy your stay at the Maldives is doing it in parts, for example in 2 or 3 dfferent resorts. That’s what we call island hopping.
Get a little adventurous and see the beauty of the Maldives from a few different sides.
We recommend you to book all necessary things as resorts and transportations before your trip, to make sure everythng goes smoothly and stress free.
There are also plenty of options for an “island hopping holidays” which means for example a week including transportations, resort bookings and activities, all together and organized for you.
